Here are a few memories and favourite photographs from an amazing few days spent at the Coudelaria Romao Tavaras stud farm in the beautiful surroundings of Alentejo, Portugal.

The Romao Tavares family have been breeding cattle and horses since the 1900s, and it was wonderful to be welcomed by them both into their home and onto the stud farm to take some photographs. The weather was glorious and the sun hot, so we spent evenings photographing their stunning homebred Lusitanos, and capturing some of the mares and foals on the farm, galloping in at dusk.
