This week’s Shot of the Week is from a spring wedding we captured at beautiful Ashley Wood Farm in Tisbury, Wiltshire. Its not the first time we’ve captured a wedding at the farm, and we simply love its laid back country charm, with the chickens casually strolling around the farm, while a wedding ceremony and reception takes place!

As wedding photographers one of the parts of a wedding we love capturing is the couple’s First Dance. The ceremony will have been a few hours ago and the speeches are done, food and wine have been consumed – so by this time of day, our couples are completely relaxed,  loving their party and celebrating with family and guests, perhaps with a little help from a few glasses along the way!

Rosie and Richard’s wedding was no different, and their al fresco ceremony in the grounds of the farm went perfectly and was followed by a mingle and canapes overlooking Fonthill Lake, then a dinner and speeches in the barn. By 9pm, the party was buzzing!

We love this photograph for the way Rosie and Richard are so lost in their own ‘bubble’ in the middle of the crowd, clearly in love, while the guests around them are all having fun! Its a perfect evening finale and closing shot to their wedding album!
