It’s Gatcombe Horse Trials this weekend on the country estate of HRH Princess Anne, so it seemed only fitting to blog some of the photographs from our recent trip to Skye to capture the “Homecoming” of the Skye Terrier. The event was organised by the Skye Terrier Club who are promoting the breed, a native breed which is endangered. HRH flew to Armadale Castle on Skye on July 24th, to unveil a beautiful statue of two terriers – a drop ear and prick ear – made by local Cotswold sculptor, Georgie Welch. Here are a few of the memories of a truly fabulous event!
