A few fantastic memories of an incredible weekend we spent with Jonathan and James capturing their wedding in the beautiful surrounds of Ston Easton Park, Somerset over the bank holiday. This wedding was so amazing that 7 or 8 pictures don’t feel enough – we will have to post a full blog in due course to really do this wedding justice!

Jonathan and James tied the knot surrounded by close family and friends in the beautiful Yellow Room at the hotel, in an emotional ceremony, followed by a relaxed afternoon drinks party and a five course meal prepared by talented chef Martin Baker, and his team at the hotel. We loved their choice of the stunning orange coloured exotic flower ‘Heliconia’ as the theme for their day, combined with grey ‘Dolce and Gabbana’ suits and buttonholes for every guest, as well as themselves. The evening was filled with a fun-filled cocktail party and dancing, with the guests all in black and white and the couple changing into vibrant red and floral jackets for the party.

As wedding photographers we always see it as our job to listen to our clients and respond to their brief as well as capturing a day in our own unique style. Jonathan and James wanted the photography to be low key and informal, so we made sure we blended into the background, capturing events unfolding,  but also allowed a little time to capture a few photographs of them together alone just after their ceremony.
