We met Viv and Jaz at Badminton Horse Trials in the spring when Viv (Jaz’ mum)  bought Jaz an Equine photoshoot and album as a gift, to capture some memories of her with her horse Lily. We planned their shoot for the summer, August, and when the day came along and we headed to Chantry near Frome, the sun was shining and we knew it was going to be a fabulous session!

Jaz’s beautiful horse Lily is a 9 year old British Warmblood cross mare, whom they bought 3 years ago as a Show Pony. After a first season showing her, Lily needed to have an operation on one of her hind legs, so the family now plans to event her – this horse has a love for jumping! Jaz told me before the shoot that Lily can be very h0t and fiery, but also very sweet and cuddly – she made a fantastic model for us – we just saw a little bit of her “fiery” side when we headed out to a nearby lane and met a very big, very loud farming truck which triggered a little ‘wobbly’! After a lively walk back, we decided to stay within the ground of her yard, where she seemed very relaxed and at ease.

We think these two make a stunning pair, with Jaz’ beautiful long blond hair and big smile combined with a lovely clothing style for the shoot, and Jaz being so pretty and clearly having such a close bond of trust with Jaz. We can’t wait to share all the photos with you in a few weeks Jaz and Viv!
