We recently received the loveliest review from our wonderful, long standing clients Sarah & Iain, and it reminded me to share a few of their photographs from the family shoot we did with them last year, over at Westonbirt in the Cotswolds.

We first met Sarah and Iain back in 2010, when they tied the knot on a beautiful October day at the Matara Centre in Kingscote. Before the wedding, we did a photoshoot with them and little one Benjii over in Gloucestershire, the perfect way to get to know them a little and plan their wedding day photography.  Their wedding day was wonderful, filled with fun and laughter.  Roll on a few years, and they got in touch asking for a family session, and we headed to Cheltenham, to capture baby Esther, who was then just under a year old.

Last year they got in touch again, this time in honour of the latest addition to the family, Isaac. Isaac was two at the time of the shoot, and Sarah warned me before we met, that he was a strong little personality! This time, we chose Westonbirt Arboretum as the location for their summer session – they wanted a natural background for the images, and Westonbirt we knew would give us lots of open space for the kids to run around, have fun and express themselves. Isaac was, indeed, a true toddler full of personality and whenever possible, doing a takeover of the shoot – hopefully we captured some of that energy and childlike character that toddlers have in the photographs!
