Back in September we spent a fabulous afternoon with Amy, partner Gareth and their two dogs over in the Cotswolds. The photoshoot was a lovely gift from a friend, Natasha, for Amy’s 30th and to celebrate her engagement and the arrival of a new addition to their family – ‘Trigger’, a fox red Labrador who was 5 months old when we did the shoot. The couple already had Tilly, a 7 year old Terrier – as you can see both are incredibly cute!!

We were lucky to get to meet Amy a few times before the shoot so we had time to do some planning and talk ideas. Amy suggested the family farm as a place to start: “Warren farm has been in the family for 61 years, so felt like a natural place for us to have some photos with the dogs. We also chose the Badminton Estate, as it has strong family connections and is such a beautiful backdrop. We’re extremely grateful and fortunate to receive permission from the Duke and Duchess to have some photos taken there, its a rarity!”

Likewise we felt honoured to be able to spend some time capturing this lovely ‘family’ in such stunning surroundings!

After some photos around the farm with the dogs literally rolling around having fun, we headed to Badminton to do some shots on the estate. We knew we wanted to take some photos with the  beautiful house in shot – who wouldn’t! We had a lot of fun with these two, a great-looking pair who obviously laugh a lot together – you can see in the photos what a great team they are!

Just as we headed out of the estate, we spotted a gorgeous evening sky and some big bales of hay on top of a hill  – perfect for some funky dusky shots to finish off their shoot. Sorry Amy we know this meant you had to walk through a whole field in 4 inch heels!!
